The Cory Merrill neighborhood offers lush and quiet living situated just minutes from downtown. Just a few blocks to the west is Denver’s popular Washington Park, a 161 acre park, and a haven for joggers, rollerbladers, tennis players, bike riders, dog lovers, volleyball players and anyone else who enjoys the Colorado sunshine. Residents have easy access to attractions in Cherry Creek, Denver’s premier shopping destination as well as the charming shops and restaurants of neighboring Bonnie Brae and Old South Gaylord.
Bounded by Mississippi, I-25, University and Colorado. The Cory Merrill neighborhood lies just to the South of Bonnie Brae. The neighborhood derives its name from Cory Elementary and Merrill Middle School two of the highest performing schools in the Denver Public School system.
The residential enclave of the Cory Merrill neighborhood features large lots and stately, remodeled homes in a serene urban-edge neighborhood. Cory-Merrill can be described as a quiet yet highly desirable neighborhood with tree-lined streets and a spattering of large new construction homes intermingled with older brick ranches. This neighborhood is rapidly changing due to its abundance of double lots, and was recently termed the “Denver capital of pop-tops”.
